The Apex Stainless Steel Guide Rod and Cap increases muzzle weight to aid in managing recoil.
- Factory Guide Rod and Cap: 5.4 grams
- Apex Guide Rod and Cap: 38 grams (Just over 7x the mass of the factory component)
Thread in Spring Cap is included to retain the factory recoil spring for ease of field stripping and maintenance.
- T-10 driver required to install the cap
The Guide Rod and Cap are available in two finish options:
- Heat-Treated and Polished Stainless Steel
- Black PVD Finished
For Use In These Guns
Springfield Armory Echelon with the slide built for a 4.5" non-threaded barrel or 5.28" threaded barrel.
Not tested or approved for use with any other barrel length
Does Not Fit These Guns
Does not fit the SA Echelon Compact or any versions that DO NOT HAVE a 4.5" non-threaded or 5.28" threaded barrel.
